Capital Radio "Help a London Child" Appeal

Donate your mobile phone and Help a London Child

For every phone you donate to the Capital Christmas Appeal, Help a London Child will receive at least £3.
£3 will allow the new Runaway Helpline text service to respond to 20 messages from children and young people: providing confidential advice; offering alternatives to running away and solutions for getting off the streets.
Do you have an old mobile phone handset or two lying around at home? Instead of gathering dust your unwanted phones could be raising more money for the Capital Christmas Appeal!

How it works
For each working handset you donate to our appeal Help a London Child will receive at least £3 - and the better the phone the more we receive - some could be worth as much as £20!
Every phone donated is re-conditioned, recycled and re-used. So this Christmas you can be 'green' as well as kind.
We need your phones BEFORE 9th January 2009!

How to donate your phone
Here comes the easy bit, you can donate your phone in the following ways:
You can drop your phone into 95.8 Capital FM's studios at:
30 Leicester Square
London
WC2H 7LA
Reception: 020 7054 8824

Ask at the reception desk if you can't find the drop-off bin!
There's nine branches to choose from in central London - find your nearest branch. Watch this space to find out more about how Crest of London are supporting our Christmas Appeal.

Or pop your phone in an envelope marked on the back with 'Help a London Child' and send it to:

SHP Solutions
Lancaster
If you don't write 'Help a London Child' on the envelope or in a slip inside, we won't get your phone!
You could also organise a phone collection at work or school and get all your colleagues and friends involved.
If you have ten phones or more we'll collect them from you for free! Just call:
